Gomi WumingSince the 1990s, Gomi Wuming, a hyperkinetic tempest, has chiseled the human soul into sensual shards, defying patriarchal, pharmacopornographic, and gender constraints in the fiery spirit of Paul B. Preciado.

Their photographs, films, installations, paintings, and sculptures—boxers frozen at the edge of the abyss, broken robots, agnostic ceramic chapels, blazing ruins—sing in vibrant hues, where cruelty embraces beauty.

Each work, haunted by the maternal fiber of Louise Bourgeois, the disturbing chaos of Paul McCarthy, and the tragic shadow of Goya, Giorgione, and Fujita, weaves a paradoxical beauty, a silent cry that opens a thousand narratives.

Far from preaching, their art dances with social and political fractures, distilling frustration, violence, and infinite sadness into radiant tones.

Their portraits of child-dictators, a poetic echo of Alice Miller, probe the roots of cruelty, while their War Ruins transform chaos into menacing fascination. Their installations, emerging where political and spiritual systems collapse, capture the moment when intelligence succumbs to ideology, spirituality to superstition.

Gomi Wuming, with a lucid gaze and beating heart, forges a vibrant tension between the tragic and the radiant.

Nourished by poetry, novels, and philosophy, they draw from the spirit of Buenos Aires, past and present, the nineties Manhattan—where galleries, drained of champagne, finally opened to curious eyes—and an eternal Italy, traversed on a custom Harley-Davidson.

Born in Brussels in 1971, trained at La Cambre, NYU, and Middlesex, they choose anonymity—“Gomi” (dust in Japanese), “Wuming” (nameless in Chinese)—as a manifesto.

After thirty-five years of unrelenting creative fire, away from the spotlight for two decades, their studio brims with unseen works, ready to ignite. Dive into this incandescent universe at www.gomiwuming.com.

Currently without an agent, they seek a partner to represent and bring their creations to life.
